Have you ever ran it Derek? I've watched parts of the womens 10K before and don't remember it being particulary hilly.
I'm looking for realistic advice from Deek or any other joggers/runners out there. (what's the difference between a jogger and a runner?)

I suspect I might have set too easy a target for my first 10K race as I ran 10K today in 51:28 this morning. With 4 weeks to go how much should I lower that by?

I like targets to mentally aim for since it keeps me motivated but I don't want to make it so unrealistic that it has the opposite effect.

With family and work responsibilities I'm restricted to 3 runs a week, 2 about 5-6K and one longer one. Should I aim for 51 mins or would 50 be attainable?

I was pleasantly surprised at my time today. I was expecting about 54 minutes. It was perfect conditions this morning though so don't want to delude myself.
