Den while I agree with you there is content out there that VM don't carry that's readily available on freesat , I can't agree with you in regards to VM competing on the channel front with Sky. BSKYB will always have a superior range of content to VM in much the same way as VM broadband will always be streets ahead of Sky's ADSL. BSKYB charge £10.25 which goes to funding the 54 HD channels available were VM offer a range of HD channels free so will never compete on HD content , this probably why they went down the TIVO route for OD , Internet apps and extra features to Sky+ to offer a completely different experience.
