You can try a reboot of the box:

Shuts down your box, then starts it straight back up again. It won’t affect recordings, Series Links, WishList searches or Suggestions

Then you can try and connect to Virgin Media TV service now.

Normally, you won’t need to choose this option as your box connects to the network automatically every few hours.
