not only will I soon be going on my first holiday in years............
but I was told yesterday at work that in the very near future I could be offered a permanent contract with the company I have been employed on a temporary contract by since last November, not only that it would be working day's and the money would be roughly the same as I am getting working the late shift I've been on since been there.

Feather in your cap Tosh, your employers obviously are pleased with your work to offer you a permanent contract. Now how about that holiday, when you off?!!
