Well I have my son here at the moment and he's got the DVD recorder working, so I know the batteries on it are fine and it's not broken. However it's no longer configured through HDMI1 and it isn't recording what we see on the screen, but is recording the crap analogue signal that it's obviously now tuned into. Now I could easily just move the DVD recorder to another room, but that would kind of defeat the whole point of buying this new remote
Plus I still haven't got the remote working, we are still trying to get it back to how it was before. Honestly I am feeling so stupid
