Besides, they quite clearly aren't going to move EVERY show over. The OP did say their best shows. Which would be the ones with the highest ratings.

What no-one has seemed to realise about Sky's positioning of programmes on Sky 1 and Sky Living, is that they are constrained by the amount of actual time they have for them in each 24 hr period. When you factor in that both of these channels (Sky Living even more so) are contractually obliged to show a minimum of 18 hrs of trailers and adverts for Sky Atlantic/Sky 1, then it does not leave a lot of room for actual programmes.
I have never watched Sky Atlantic, but it feels like I have watched every programme that's been on it.
