... was that if VM continues to supply channels with poor content which is of no interest to the majority of its customers then it is VM that customers should complain to about the selection of channels (as opposed to the programming on them).
The remainder of my post was just reinforcing the point that, since the sale of the VMTV channels to Sky, the programming on the Sky and Living channels has deteriorated. If I were Sky I'd be embarrassed that Sky 1 has such a poor line-up, Sky 2 repeats a lot of that line-up and Pick (formerly Sky 3) is a selection of that line-up. The pattern is similar with Sky Living, Sky Living It, Sky Living Loves.
Where are the new episodes and the original programming? There may be some but not much in proportion to the amount of old, repeated material.
I don't normally comment on the selection of programmes on individual channels because usually a significant cross-section of the viewing public finds a reasonable amount to their taste on a given channel throughout the week. Indeed I have criticised other posters in the past for pooh-poohing a channel or a programme based on the principle that "it's rubbish, I don't watch it, so it's pointless having it on VM" when others may enjoy it. However, at the moment, there
doesn't appear to be, IMHO, a whole lot across all of the Sky/Living channels that I have on the XL package that is of interest to a large number of the VM customers and that hasn't been shown before.
Maybe it's just a seasonal change issue and when the Summer schedules start things will improve but, right now, most of the Sky stuff seems to be Deja Vu all over again!
