Having run some tests it doesn't do this anymore and just sticks on 1 tuner unless the channel selected happens to be on another tuner in which case you do get a buffer.
Can anyone confirm or deny this?

RRR to swap between different tuners, you should be able to have 3 buffers going if nothing is recording
