I agree about the problems - should be sorted by now. These seem more related to the ongoing service (EPG data, catch-up links) than the hardware.

I find the box much faster and responsive than v+ but I didnt use it much during the first 24 hours. The initial data download may be slowing things down for you.

Some people have also reported a slowing down as the hard drive gets full but as I have not been above 12% full I couldnt comment on that.
No offence here Andy but looking at your posts it would appear to me that you are either working for VM or TIVO , im not sure which.
