Sorry, didn't mean to butt in. It's just that our two problems seemed so similar and, much as I love my TiVo, I'm getting frustrated. The 'intelligent' series links and the recommendations were two features I was so looking forward to and both seem to be flawed at present. |
No problem at all mate. Iin an ideal world everything should work perfectly from day 1 but I guess I just don't get why the odd duplicate recording would cause frustration - its much better than missing the show completely.
Tivo is about proactively gathering lots of content together in one place based around what you like and then lettling you choose what to watch when you want to watch it and to delete what you don't. Its like having your own dedicated tv channel with all programmes available when you want them. A duplicate recording is just like having a repeat in the schedule - why worry about it?
