oh come on be fair Masque ,most of those jolly jaunts are paid for out the royal purse not the tax payer .The state will only pay for state occasions ,and don't forget the royal estates contribute millions of £'s towards the cost of running the whole household

basically the treasury earned £230m for an outlay of £38.2m ,not a bad return
