Its a range of programmable remote controls. You tell it what devices you have, and then what 'activities' you do, and it will control all those devices for that activity so you can put the old remotes in the drawer.

For instance, my 'TV Lounge Cable' activity allows me to control my Sammy TV, my Amp, and my TiVo box, all from one remote, instead of using 3.

Before I got one I had around 9 remote controls sitting on the desk in my lounge. Now I just use one. Once you get one, and programme it (which is quite easy), you'll wonder how you got on without one.
