They had to change the outside box (it had been there since '95, and wasn't big enough for whatever they had to fit for TiVo), swapped the V+ box for the V box in the lad's entertainment room, checked everything was up and running before they left, and took me through the main options, including how to set up a wishlist.

All in all, took about an hour, and so far everything appears to be hunky-dory. It will probably take me a while to get used to all the options, and I have to keep checking my daughter is taking all the tuners to record with her US reality show carp*...

*I just find out when it is next shown, and change the series link to that.
