Tivo offers powerfull search and additional information on shows, actors, directors and the like with links to online information. That is an important part of the feature set. So, they should work. For me, they do, so I don't have a problem, just delight in the extra functionality.
Oh I do use all those features and they work too. That was my point The OP was, imo, talking like it was an expensive door-stop or something.
