We do this by helping them get a panel of customers together, whose broadband performance will be independently measured by Ofcom and SamKnows. The panel is made up of broadband users from around the country, from all the major Internet Service Providers, on all sorts of speeds.
How can I help?
Our brand new 30Mb broadband hasn’t been tested by Ofcom and SamKnows yet. That’s why they’re recruiting their latest speed testing panel and we’d love it if you’d join them.
Count me in! What do I do?
It’s simple. Just register with Ofcom and SamKnows here:
samknows.com/broadband/signup/ofcom. Once you’ve registered, they’ll pick a sample of people to join the panel and, if you’re one of them, they’ll send you a little gadget to connect to your SuperHub. This lets Ofcom and SamKnows measure your connection’s performance without affecting your broadband use at all.
Just so you know, these panels fill up quickly, so if you’d like to join in, just make sure you register as soon as you can. If you’re picked for the panel, SamKnows will get in touch with you within the next 10 days.
