I think I must be in a minority of 1 ... I dont think shelling out £149-£249 on a new product that there should be ANY niggles at all and if there are niggles/faults then the company should acknowledge and partial refund until all niggles/faults are corrected.
I have no idea why customers are prepared to accept second best just because its a 'new product' ... they (TiVo) still after 10 years cant get the EPG error free and bugs from that S1 era still exist from the reading I have done.
I expect i will get hung drawn and quartered for daring to say the above but honestly in this day and age there is no excuse for poor quality service or product quality of a big release product that TiVo aspires to be. If it was Apple or Microsoft there would be rants and raves all over about shoddy workmanship and yet you accept it from VM

I will now bow out of any further TiVo decussion as i have no intention of having one until there is no choice.
