I had to do a bit of colour adjusting on both TV's once the TiVo's were installed. I didn't blame that on TiVo though, just the fact it was a new source. Same as watching TV through the DVD player instead of the TiVo or V+ - different settings for each source.

Better to switch to Scart before moving it (someone else has probably answered this though, but thought I would in case they hadn't)

Make sure the scart cable for the DVD recorder is in the correct scart slot on the V+. I've done it backwards myself before - hopefully it's something as simple as that.
