Before the V+ was around reminders were the only way to ensure you didn't miss a programme. Now we have multiple tuners and a large hard drive they really aren't needed. Also if its a show or event that you really want to see you shouldn't be forgetting about it just before it starts 
If you desperately need a reminder that the news is on at 6 then there is something wrong :P its on that time everyday lol. However you could always set an alarm or calender reminder on your mobile phone? |
VM need to listen to your customers, reminders is a popular feature from the posts on here. It is not a big issue for me personally but I can see why people want to watch live TV and simply want a reminder if they are watching something else.
