Yeah like when they pulled out of NATO - knowing full well that they had the protection of the surrounding NATO countries in that they could sell arms to all anyone they liked without redress, E.g. the exocet missle that sank one of our ships during the Falklands conflict.
Guess they've never forgiven us for the embarrasment at Agincourt!
