He made a few phonecalls to other engineers who had already installed them and to ask for there help/advice about it, but it all went well. He had a play with it and was really impressed and said he was now going to get one!! Have had a little go with it and so far, so good! I haven't had any problems with the remote. It seems to work from anywhere in my living room so maybe the other poster who was having problems has a faulty remote? Have tried setting recordings from my PC and that worked great. Have also set up some series links and that was straight forward too. Picture of non-HD channels is good although maybe not as sharp as on the V+ in my opinion, but nothing worth worrying about. So far, very pleased with it. Will take a while to get used to it and use all the features especially as I wasn't left a manual so have been working it out for myself but have found the manual online so will have a read about it.
That poster was me! You maybe right. Does it work bouncing off the walls as well?

Either remote or sensor on box will.

Is there a specific support line for Tivo?
