Of course. Never said they couldn't/shouldn't

But let's say, for example, that you want to watch BGT. Record it and start watching delayed by, say, 15 mins. You'll miss out the ads but still be able to "take part".

I used to have to sit down when something was on; and this included sitting through ads. I haven't done that since getting my original Tivo in 2002.
