I grew up around there, knew his older brother. I've even had the experience of putting a fist through my car window to stop some **** taking off in it... I'd have succeeded in stopping him if it wasn't for the rest of his cowardly mob jumping on me and one of them stabbing me in the back of the arm.
When I gave a statement to the police, I told the officer that I had my hands around his throat (squeezing really hard!!) trying to get him out of the car until I was jumped, he said "It's best if I put down that you had him by the shirt". I knew what he was getting at.
They never found my computer and other PC gear, but they did find the car burned out just a few miles away in Salford 5, Ordsal.
