not the same situation, the government has the means to pay back what its borrowing, I agree the deficit is at a high level but its unrealistic to expect to have no deficit. It also has mechanisms it can call up on for a increase of tax revenue should it be needed. Quite simply put a government shouldnt be compared to a business, another mistake tories tend to make they try to run it like a business.

Mertle made a point which you havent answered, he basically saying the same as me in that these jobs are not going to just appear. It is a global market.
