I think so. The complaints were across all the relevant forums plus loads of emails to the CEO office. But this thread attached some figures to how the pricing could potentially affect take-up.
To me it was all about consistent pricing and fairness for Pre-regs, rather than the actual price and it seems VM have addressed that and should be applauded for doing so.
