That is spot on, I especially agree with the picture being a little softer.

My personal gripe on PQ is when people buy TV's that are too big for the room it is in. They enjoy boasting to their mates down the pub that they have just bought a 50" TV then they wonder why the SD picture is so poor when they can only sit about 6 or 7 foot away
