Dirty Desmond is not above using his papers to try to favour his own side as the negotiations draw to a close. He will be trying to get viewers excited and most probably making the case to Endemol for the show to be done in the way he wants it done.
It probably will happen, but there's no ink on the contracts yet, so don't start planning your opening night party.  |

On the 2 April 2011, it was officially announced that Big Brother is returning to Channel 5 in August 2011 with a Celebrity edition and a main edition following in September. A five year contract is set to be signed extending the series for 5 years until 2012, with Big Brother being run in the Summer and Celebrity Big Brother being run in January
