Connected content will be on top of the normal TV watching, but Youview will have it and Virgin will have it, so sky will need to get it at some stage. I'm sure they will, but those telephone wire broadband speeds (that have to be shared with the rest of the households streaming needs), won't be on their side (compared to Tivo's dedicated 10meg that can be upped to 20meg) download speed. |
It still bottlenecks when everybody's trying to access it what with TIVO being used , 50 meg , 100 meg , 200 meg should make peak time interesting , you may have a house streaming lovefilm on TIVO , multiple computers on, should make an interesting peak time traffic jam.
