The Blu-ray player doesn't actually have internet access per-se.

The Ethernet port is mainly for firmware updates, but it also supports Panasonic's BD-Live feature, which allows movies with web-enabled content (extra bonus features) to download those features.

Its not a full internet enabled device. I think you would be wasting alot of cash on a very rudimentary feature that I dont think many people would use.
