Ed Balls has no policies, he's purely a political attack dog. It's part of the turn off for Labour right now actually, they don't appear to have any policies they have become the party of 'no', pointing out the government's mistakes while offering no idea what they would do instead.

Looking at the comments at http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/haveyours...ch_achiev.html along with the opinion polls supporting austerity I'm not entirely convinced that Milliband's assertion that the TUC march was speaking for the mainstream majority was correct.
