The box is in the living room is connected to the Virgin modem via LNB cable. So i got a splitter and connected it to my vbox but i'm still not getting a signal.

any idea on what i need to do to get freeview channels?

Yep, you've wasted your money. I hope you didn't pay much as it's stolen property.

No VM boxes are sold. They always remain the property of VM at all times.

Can't you get additional box from VM? It would be £5.60 per month on the multi-room and would get the same channels as the main box.

Installation charges may apply, but the account holder can enquire. Or get a freeview box if there is an aerial connection for terrestrial.
