If I was a XL customer I would ask VM what they are planning, which you well know is what I did when I had XL, sadly it took me 7 months to get a definitive answer out of them so I dealt with the problem myself.
I wouldn't waste time observiing ratings on channels that my provider dosen't even carry and ask them what alternative plans they have but as you said some time ago VM are going on 'a HD shopping spree' I would rather speculate what the said spree will provide!
If they do go on this spree I may well return in a year so it is in my interest, I am very much still a VM customer.

I agree if VM upped there channel range I to would definately consider coming back.
