it is a Dlink and yes the light used to go red but now when the connection dies the light doesnt which is weird. I am adiment that its a line or router problem, it cannot be a PC problem since if i connect it to my 50mb i dont have an issue.

He has also noticed it will tend to drop a lot of the time when the connection is under some load for example downloading something such as emails or a file.
