Who picks up the tab? Do Virgin just absorb this costly error, or do they put all of their prices up to cover the costs? I feel if Virgin start throwing money at channels, just for the sake of adding them, it'll be all customers who ultimately pay for them, not just the ones who actually receive them in their package. Also if they did create a £5 HD package and you want all HD that Virgin has to offer, you'll have to pay £13.00 per month which I understand would make it the most expensive HD package in the UK, Europe and possibly the world. Even then you still wouldn't have all the channels that SKY offer.

SKY use the tagline "Believe in better".

Virgin would have to use "Pay more for second best".
