Maybe. However it's hard to feel cheated when Barcelona were so dominant throughout. If we had preserved that lead then it would have felt like a smash and grab. I would have taken that but I don't feel anything other than Barcelona deserved to go though.

Let's remember they had a blatant penalty turned down and a goal incorrectly ruled offside in the first leg.

It's funny. Had Bendtner managed to score from his chance (by the way, just imagine RVP on the end of that instead) then Wenger would be hailed a hero and tactical genius, as Mourinho was last season. Arsenal were a miss control away from the next round and avoiding the wrath of hypocritical media and fans.
Such is Football. You are often a kick away from glory or defeat. A teams performance is coloured by the result. At the end he didn't score. We mustered 0 shots.

However it's pretty clear that we played defensively and didn't keep them out. Inter did, what's more Inter were calmer when they did it and Barcelona didn't look like scoring whereas they did last night.

We were beaten by the vastly better side. A failure to accept that could lead us to spoil the rest of a still promising season.
