No, people are ditching TiVo subscriptions and going back to their cableco's because they don't get full functionality of their service by using TiVo and cablecards. TiVo is now working with providers including Cox and Comcast to launch company specific TiVo equipment which allows access to the full range of cableco services as well as TiVo functionality... exactly like the Virgin Media deal.

TiVo may be losing subscription customers but they will be gaining customers through deals with cable and satellite providers, its just a different market for the same product.
