Sky's pricing model means they make a profit on all channels regardless of it anyone even takes the pack they're in.
Every single channel on their epg has to pay them a platform contribution fee.
I'd be interested to see how much it costs the BBC to be on VM, as we know it costs them nearly £4.5m JUST for BBC one to be on Sky. Tempted to put in a freedom of information request to the BBC to find out.
