To me, the only reason for a reminder on the V+ was to be able to watch a third programme when the other 2 tuners were already recoding. Now, with a recordable third tuner, there's no need for that.

I agree. I only ever used reminders when I had my original non-recordable Sky box.
I guess it's all down to your individual needs, but I have never used reminders on a PVR and with three tuners soon to be activated I don' t see the need for it.
