The SD PQ is more of a concern as some people (not all) have stated they have a poorer PQ when the Tivo is installed which is not good. I'm hoping I see no difference with my setup.

I'm guessing this is down to the TV itself. I have a Sony Bravia which does an excellant job of upscalling on it's own. I don't have TIVO but I'm guessing the people not having issues have higher end tv's. I'm probably way off base with that though

That would imply to me that the TIVO upscaling is inferior to the V+ upscaling at the moment.
