The SD PQ is more of a concern as some people (not all) have stated they have a poorer PQ when the Tivo is installed which is not good. I'm hoping I see no difference with my setup.
I don't see any noticeable difference on my setup. But now I have the hard drive space I don't think I have actually watched an SD programme in the whole 7 days I've had it. The HD picture to my eyes, on my setup, is better than the Samsung V+. I would urge those who are putting it off purely because of the SD quality should reconsider. Until you actually experience the Tivo properly, you can't really appreciate it fully.

As far as functionality goes it like upgrading your Nokia 3210 to an iPhone (I know some of you are probably thinking, "but the iPhone isn't all that" I think that too, but for the purpose of comparison I shall use it as an example)!
