Wise words Rizzy, although this particular revelation is nothing very astounding - I don't think the British and US governments ever doubted Gadaffi was ultimately responsible, but they seemed content to take what they could get (two secret service agents, one of whom is now proven to have been involved) rather than persisting with making Gadaffi and his whole country a pariah.

As and when he does fall from power though, London and Washington are going to have to join the queue if they want his head on a spike. I suspect there are rather a lot of Libyans who are quite keen to get hold of him first.
