He said the boxes that are out now are "exprimental ones" so they can iron out the flaws. He even said that thats why they haven't turned one of the tuners on because they don't know if it will work on all the boxes.
I dont know if he was talking rubbish or not but he was talking a lot of technical mubo jumbo.
Based on events so far it would not surprise me one bit if all of that is true.
