TiVo was £400 - both pricey products when a VCR could probably be had for less than half the price.

It's the reason I and a few of my friends didn't buy one... we waited for Sky+, which was good, but a little basic compared to what TiVo could do, but we thought it was going to be the same....

Sky dropped the price to £249/£279 and thats when I got mine. I wanted the integration too.
