Thought I would post this as this is the thread looking at power levels, had an VM engineer round earlier to adjust my download power levels, as was around 14 dBmV. Engineer fitted an “equaliser” device to bring down the level on the required channels, now around 8-8.5 dBmV.
He told me the normal range should be between -7 and 11 dBmV for where I am in Nottingham, so something to compare against.
Everything running smoothly, did have the odd web site load corruption before, which I didn’t get before the SH was installed but so far everything now looks fine.
He also asked me to use
http://www.speedtest.bbmax.co.uk/ for testing speed which I’ve not used before, used internally apparently or that was what I was told!
