I also had issues with a PS3 over wireless (dlna errors etc), and tried lots of so called solutions from the internet, all failed miserably, so in the end I bit the bullet and bought a couple of Solwise Homeplugs (200Mbps) and since then no issues connecting to the internet, streaming HD movies etc well worth it and only about 10mins to set up.

PS if you are worried about taking up power sockets you can get piggy back units that allow mains connections to pass thru':-
