Lol, yeah that's even more complicated. There are ways round it and I should manage to find a run somehow. I can create an access panel in a cupboard if need be, but the stupid heating engineers have run the gas pipes through the access holes in the foundations.
It's an old house with solid brick walls and I doubt that I have ever got above the 50% percent even with the old router. I know on the PS3 that the test run, when it comes to speeds, is for reference only. I never had any need or reason to test the speeds with the old router. Albeit, downloads were pants (but not as bad as now) So I don't know if running the test 3 times on the old setup would have given inconsistent results or not. I would be much obliged if you could test that for me and let me know if you do indeed get 3 different varied sets of results. All my mates own 360's, lol.
