On Sky I'm used to having a dynamic epg so for ex sky users the VM tivo is a step backwards.

But anyway I'm just bitter that I left sky ignore me.
The EPG is managed and controlled by TiVo, so I'm not sure what you mean here? It's worked perfectly for me and hasn't missed a recording or cut off the beginning or end, but hey what do I know

How is TiVo a step backwards? Sky's EPG is poor compared with TiVo.

indeed. I've seen TiVo pick up late changes very quickly ahead of V+.
