as i said earlier we cant actually prove or disprove your post as its not in our power but if what you say is true it is showing VM in a bad light IMHO and that the whole tivo existing customer launch is a pure lottery on who gets a call and who doesnt.

as we keep getting told "its not launched yet" my question is - are there one or two launches .. one single launch for open orders over the phone (new and existing customers) or are there in actual fact two launches one for existing customers (no ordering until you get called) and one for new customer phone orders ? ... i ask as it appears random customers on random packages and now random lengths of loyalty are being called with no apparent pattern and some are getting several calls despite already having made an order

all very confusing for the average customer who just wants information and can then form their own opinion on that information
As I have tried to tell you, its not an offical launch at the moment. TiVo is at a pre launch stage, hence the promo for VIP50 customers and TiVo S1 users. They are also calling those who pre registered on the VM website.

Once it fully launches, anyone will be able to order Tivo via the VM site, in a VM store or by phone. There will also be a marketing campaign once it does fully launch.

It doesn't have to have launched for people to get installed with it.
