There's nothing wrong with TIVO doing a deal with VM to supply boxes first to their customers if they are paying for it. I'd be less happy if VM we're paying for it as a favour to TIVO though.
Think of it this way ben.. VM decided to reward TIVO customers (who've paid tivo alot of money over the years). But they can't quite find the money, so they take it out of your raise for this year. Now you are grumpy and VM customers get poor service when they phone you up  |
Where has it been said that S1 TiVo customers are getting it free. As far as I read they are paying the standard price.
It's existing VIP customers who are getting the remote in a box and the free TiVo.
