Anyway the FA Cup will probably never recover that spark, the closest rival we have to the Superbowl is the Champions League Final. It's already the 2nd biggest regular sporting event in the world, in terms of TV Coverage, and UEFA are obviously gunning for first spot. Hence the move to a Saturday evening..
I was purely talking about Cup Final Day not the technical side of the game. I agree the the F A Cup final is very unlikely to recover.
