After all when i was offered my deal it was inferred that it would go up to 30mb when it came along, nothing about having to lose my retentions deal to do it was mentioned just the price i would be paying.
To my way of thinking if they want to take my retentions deal away to upgrade, then that is not what i was offered in the first place.

Same thing happened to me back in October. I was persuaded not to cancel on the basis that my 20Mb would be updated to 30Mb around January. When I spoke to somebody in retentions last week, he as good as accused me of lying.
Up to that point I just wanted to get what had been agreed with me. After that, I signed up with BT Infinity within 15 minutes of putting the phone down.
